Prices have gone up, but the standards are still high.
Their happy hour Sedalia ground filet burger is no longer $10 (it's $16 now), so Gabriel's has lost ground to Crave for best burger for the buck in the Castle Rock area, but Gabe's is still one of the best fine dining restaurants around.
Going on a Wine Wednesday (half-price bottles of wine) for happy hour was a real treat. They split a large Tuscan Romaine wedge salad and a large shrimp cocktail for no charge or problem (both were terrific). They had a mussel bowl special that was very good. The four cheese ravioli was fresh and flavorful and the 12 ounce New York Strip steak was perfect, plus it looked way over 12 ounces. Their bistro menu in the bar area is just the best and definitely worth a visit for birthdays and celebrations. -

Gabriel's again provided perfection. We brought a family of clients to Sunday brunch on the deck to celebrate their 3rd real estate transaction with us! Crab cake benedict, prime rib, even mac and cheese for the kids. Food, service, and atmosphere all combine for a fabulous meal. We've been enjoying Gabriel's fir special occasions and happy hours for years. It's our go to when we want that consistency. Thanks so much, Gabriel's!

Disappointing food but great service. The charm and servers were great but I will not be back

If not for a gift card, I might have never learned about Gabriel's. This is a definite gem located in the SW area of Denver located in a retro-fitted Victorian like house/building. And while it might not be right down the street --- it is worth the drive to Sedalia.
First off, plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early (should you make a reservation) so that you can enjoy the bar and patio area with a cocktail, beer or wine. Speaking of wine --- i was impressed with the selection.
The dining rooms are cozy and quaint with just a few tables in each which makes for a more intimate atmosphere.
Overall, the entrees were outstanding and the desserts are a MUST ORDER (so be sure to save some room).
Service was fantastic with the wait staff always making sure that your drinks were full.
Given the higher price point, a visit is probably more of a special event meal -- but very much worth it. -

Note: As I see mentions here of new management (starting when I don't know), I'll specify that we ate at Gabriel's in October 2018.
We we brought out-of-town guests expecting to show off a gem of the area. The building is really cute, but the food was disappointing - especially for the high price. Each of the four of us ordered a different entree, and none of us enjoyed our meal. I wanted to love this place but unfortunately don't recommend it.
